Boscobel is reopening its doors after 17 months of emergency restoration, but our comeback story isn’t over yet! Our Preservation in Progress tours offer a rare chance to see the Historic House Museum mid-restoration, evolving as work continues over the next several years.

But this won’t be the perfect, polished Boscobel you may remember. On these guided tours, you’ll experience something even more powerful: a historic house mid-restoration. You’ll walk through rooms mid-restoration, witness expert craftsmanship in real time, and see the work still needed to bring this Hudson Valley treasure fully back to life. It’s a behind-the-scenes look at history being saved, piece by piece.
