Details:

This immersive experience is designed for homeowners, contractors, and design professionals who care deeply about restoring and rehabilitating with integrity. Through interactive demonstrations in historic plasterwork, lighting, and wallpaper—rooted in Boscobel’s own dramatic restoration after a catastrophic ceiling collapse—you’ll gain practical insights and lasting inspiration for your own projects. Participants will also be among the first to step inside Boscobel and experience its once-in-a-generation restoration in action.  Your ticket directly supports the emergency restoration of Boscobel, safeguarding its future as a beloved historic house museum and community hub for the Hudson Valley.

Two ticket levels are available:

  • The half day program of artisan-led sessions, catered lunch, and a hard hat tour followed by a Summer Friday champagne toast ($175)
  • An afternoon hard hat tour and Summer Friday champagne toast only, from 4-5pm. ($35)

9:30-9:45: Welcome + Framing the Day 
9:45-10:15: Restoration Challenges & Opportunities with Anthony Frisenda, Project Architect
10:15-11:45: Trades in Action: Highlighting the role of traditional craft in the historic house restoration with Adrian Taylor of Hyde Park Mouldings, Ben Davidson of Quittner Historic Lighting, and Mike Germain of Germain Wallcoverings
11:45-12:30: Working with Historic Trades: What Homeowners Need to Know, Panel Discussion and Q&A Moderated by Kate Wood of Worth Preserving
12:30-2: Lunch & behind-the-scenes hard hat tour of Boscobel led by Executive Director, Jennifer Carlquist
