Sunday, February 15
Three Sessions: 4pm; 5pm; 6pm

Admission:

Adults: $75

Details:

Step into the glittering world of the Regency era for a Bridgerton–inspired evening that celebrates music, dance, and social connection. This lively, participatory event is designed for curious beginners and seasoned dance lovers alike, with the emphasis on learning and enjoying dances from the period in a relaxed, festive atmosphere.

Historic performers Carla and Keyes as our host, Queen Charlotte, will guide guests through elegant Regency-era dances, offering context, instruction, and plenty of good humor along the way. Just in time for season four of Bridgerton, experience the rhythms of the era and discover how dance shaped social life in the early 19th century.

Each session with begin with a brief guided tour of Boscobel’s Historic House Museum. Light refreshments will be served, and the evening will conclude with a celebratory champagne toast, adding a touch of sparkle to the occasion. Festive or period-inspired dress is warmly encouraged—think Regency flair or Bridgerton-style glamour—but comfort and enthusiasm are all that’s required. Come ready to learn, laugh, and dance your way into history!

Please Note: Three sessions are offered during the evening at 4pm, 5pm, and 6pm. Each session offers the same experience, and smaller groups enable a more intimate and immersive experience.

This is part of our larger Winter Sunday Salons: a series of public programs that invite curiosity and connection through history, literature, music, and culture. Offering a range of performances, lectures, and interactive events, this season’s salons commemorate the 250th birthday of Jane Austen and her enduring legacy.

About Carla and Keyes

Hudson Valley based artists Carla Lynne Hall and Jim Keyes have been writing and performing music together since 2016. They are not only business partners but partners in life. Married in 2019, the two perform under the stage name “Carla and Keyes.” The duo has traveled to area schools, libraries, historic institutions, and other public places to sing and act in original performances that bring American history to life, often with an angle that sheds light on important African-Americans that have contributed to our country’s story.
