Adult Group Tours
Our experienced docents will guide your group on an engaging, interpretive tour covering history of the late 18th and early 19th centuries and of the lives of the Dyckman family. Groups of 12 or more enjoy the benefit of a discounted admission rate of only $13 per person.
Topic-Specific Adult Group Tours
These exclusive tours are intended to provide a more personalized, more in-depth educational experience for visitors. Private tours can focus on select features of Boscobel House, such as architecture, furniture, or textiles, or topics such as political history, the Dyckman family, etc. Special rates apply. These programs must be booked in advance.
Student Group Visits
Boscobel is experienced in organizing special programs for students of all ages. Programs for kindergartners have focused on daily life of the early 19th century, while high school students have engaged with the Loyalist and Patriot themes of the Revolutionary War and college students from design schools such as F.I.T and Parsons have focused on historic textiles, patterns and decorative arts. Period Dress
Enliven your group’s tour by arranging for docents to be dressed in period costumes for your tour. Great for all ages.
Teatime Tour
Tour guests are treated to tea sandwiches, pastries and an assortment of teas in the Thompson Room.
Sandwich, Salad & Sights Tour
A selection of boxed lunches, provided by a local caterer, are enjoyed by guests picnic-style on our grounds.
Champagne in the Rose Garden Tour
Enjoy a late afternoon reception in Boscobel’s circular rose garden, complete with champagne and light hors d’oeuvres.
House & Gardens Tour
After a 45-minute tour of the mansion, guests will be lead on a 30-minute tour of Boscobel’s manicured grounds, including its Herb Garden, Orangery and circular Rose Garden with fountain.
