Each item complements our critically acclaimed gallery exhibit, “The Glorious Scenery Must Ever Excite”: Nineteenth-century American Paintings of the Hudson Highlands. The 9”x9”. 32-page catalogue features an essay by the exhibit’s guest curator Kenneth W. Maddox, PhD and provides important detail about the artists, their times and the scenes they painted, all of which are within a 20-mile radius of Boscobel.
