How do I get to Boscobel House & Gardens?

Our address is 1601 Route 9D in Garrison, NY. Please visit the Directions page at this site. The Cold Spring Trolley also stops at Boscobel.

Are pets allowed?

No. Only service dogs are permitted on Boscobel's grounds.

Can I picnic on your grounds?

During regular business hours, visitors are asked to picnic in the designated picnic areas only, and during certain Boscobel events, guests are invited to bring and enjoy a picnic on our grounds. See Visitors Map for designated areas.

Is Boscobel House & Gardens handicap accessible?

Boscobel House is not accessible, but the grounds are. There are parking spaces and a restroom designated for handicap.

Can I purchase event tickets online?

Tickets for some of our events can be purchased online. Look for the "Brown Paper Tickets" logo on that event listing's calendar page. If not, you are welcome to purchase a ticket over the phone. Simply call 845-265-3638 during business hours and have your credit card handy. You can also mail or stop by Boscobel to pay by check or cash.

What if it rains during a scheduled Boscobel event?

If you are not sure if an event will be held because of weather, please call Boscobel that day to confirm: 845-265-3638 x115.

If a Boscobel event is cancelled, will you give a refund?

If Boscobel cancels an event due to weather, we will issue a refund. If it rains and the event is still held, there are no refunds. Check our website for rescheduling announcements.

How do I purchase Shakespeare tickets?

Stop by Boscobel June-Sept, visit www.hvshakespeare.org or call the Shakespeare Box Office: 845-265-7858.

Is Boscobel available for commercial photo shoots, filming, movies, etc?

Boscobel welcomes your inquiries regarding photography on our grounds. When not in use, and by prearranged appointments only, the exterior property at Boscobel is available for all types of professional photography: commercial shoots, films, feature movies, fashion shoots, etc. However, all sessions are subject to the approval of Boscobel management and require, in advance, a fee, insurance certificates and signed agreements.
