Boscobel is open every day except: Tuesdays, Sunday May 16, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. The museum and grounds are closed to the public January, February and March.

April through October: 9:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. (last tour begins at 4:00 p.m.).
November and December: 9:30 a.m. – 4 p.m. (last tour begins at 3:00 p.m.).

Museum Shop
Boscobel’s quaint shop features a wide assortment of gifts and a fine selection of books on the Hudson River Valley, history, gardening, architecture, and the decorative arts. Staff is always available to assist you with your shopping needs.
Picnicking
With the purchase of an admission ticket, visitors bringing their own picnic may do so only in the designated areas on Boscobel’s grounds. Sorry, no dogs allowed. In the Carriage House you will find public restrooms, the Museum Shop, as well as bottled water, snacks and coffee available for purchase.
Artists at Boscobel
On the second Tuesday of each month , Boscobel opens its grounds free of charge so that artists can paint or draw undisturbed.
During regular business days and hours artists are welcome with the purchase of a grounds pass.
Special Functions
Boscobel is available for private or corporate functions and wedding or commercial photography by advanced arrangement. Please contact Boscobel’s events coordinator for information: dblaney@boscobel.org
Friends of Boscobel
The Friends of Boscobel offers volunteer opportunities at Boscobel. Members receive free admission for regular tours of the mansion and grounds from April through December, a ten percent discount in the museum shop, and discount on several special events.
